Ancient!

I’m not really, but I definitely feel older. We had a good night on Thursday, had curry for dinner and some Cava, that made me feel quite ill! Woke up fine on Friday though. We went to Glo in Reading for dinner, which was really nice. We started off sharing some dim sum; duck spring rolls, crispy prawn and chive things and some fried chicken mince thing. It was all nice. I had duck noodles in plum sauce for mains, and some nice cocktails! Then I had deep fried ice cream, which was really nice. The waiter put a candle in it too! Read More...

I thought I’d give a little update from here in the school sixth form study area. It’s boring. I’ve just printed off 6 pieces of PE homework from the last week, and am a bit annoyed since I spent ages making it pretty with colour pictures and they don’t have a colour printer.. But I can’t complain really since the PC at home doesn’t want to log anybody on at the moment so I can’t print it off from there. It’s such a stupid machine. Toby thinks it needs more RAM since most of it is being used up by all of Mum’s anti-spyware, anti-virus, anti-this and anti-that programmes that she didn’t need to download but was paranoid. You can tell the child within me is excited! The closer it gets, the more excited I am. I haven’t really been all that excited this week about it being the last before Christmas, but it’s the day itself that’s getting me hyped. I just want to see Toby open his present and then I’ll calm down! Although I can’t say I’m not at all excited about what he’s got me.. He says I will poke him; he’s apparently spent too much (not that I haven’t spent a lot.. oops).. So it will be interesting to see what he’s bought. Well, it’s the end of the decade. I don’t know what I have to say really apart from the fact that this decade has been.. Erm.. interesting. The new millennium.. I was too young to really be interested in, but it’s cool to say I’ve lived in two millennia! Then there was the start of secondary school, which was shit. Most of the time it’s been full of fights between friends.. Most of them involving one person, and another that goes with the first. We got over that though.. At the end of year 11! The decade also showed me the death of my Grandad back in 2005, who I miss so much, the same as I miss my Nanna. Both my Mum’s parents, both Cancer. It really is a horrible thing. Read More...
