The lovely family that I live with. Besides Toby, they are the only people that I know I can rely on no matter what.
Mum & Dad:
Well, they’ve been there forever. Not really forever, just my forever. They are pretty awesome, if I’m honest. Yes, I may complain about them, but really, they have many good qualities. 1: it is really hard to get them majorly annoyed; I have to be a massive brat before they really shout their heads off, and I doubt they would really get violent, but I have to admit there are times when I think I’ve annoyed Dad enough for him to… 2: they do give my brother and I a lot of freedom; I can go where and do what I want as long as I’m home by a certain time. Which is good, unless it’s an evening when I don’t have to get up the next day and Mum still wants me back and in bed by a reasonable time. ‘A reasonable time’ in her book being 10 o’ clock. Which is not fair when I want to stay with friends or, more likely, Toby. Overall, though, my parents are brilliant. And you may have to quote me on that if I get too upset with them.
Chris:
He is my brother. He’s two years older than me, which is good really. He gets on well with Toby, considering they are both the kind of guy to play shooty games on the xbox. I’ve gotten closer to him recently I think, since I don’t resent him as I did because he had way more freedom. Mum and Dad are okay with me staying where I want with Toby, like they were with Chris and his girlfriend, Amy (who is really nice). It’s good now, we get on well and that’s what you need in a brother really. He is a good one, as brothers go. I can’t think of a friend who has a better one.
Cats:
She isn’t really a person, but she’s awesome, most of the time. Whiskers is our only cat now, since we lost Salem a couple of months ago. We miss him loads really. Whiskers helps though, we have to look after her now and make sure she’s coping. I think she misses him, since she’s become a lot more talkative and sociable since we lost our boy. She does get really annoying sometimes when she yowls, but not as much as Salem did. She is a gorgeous little mad thing though. She does things that we’ve never seen any other cat do, which make us smile. I wouldn’t give her up for the world.
