Well, it really started because of Toby. He’s my lovely boyfriend, and he works for a web hosting company, Evohosting, who host this site for me. He’d been suggesting I understand his work a bit more for a while, and found an unused domain called Mieow, which is rather appropriate due to the amount of Kat-cat jokes he makes about me. So he told me the password to the domain and told me how to install WordPress, and here we are. Well, not exactly. It took a lot of messing around and writing to get it to where it is now.
I actually love having this though, it’s like a way of letting out all my stresses without pissing anyone off, ’cause they don’t have to read it if they don’t want to. It’s also allowed me to really find out who I am. I’m a geek deep down, but it’s way more complicated than just that. My many interests and emotions make me more than just a computer geek; I’m a unique geek.
Anyway, back to the blog. I’m trying to make it as interesting as possible, so I’ve got a few post series that might be interesting. Okay, so Quotable Cats is probably rather pointless, apart from making me smile when I write them. The New Talent feature seems much better, spreading the word about new bands I find on MySpace. I love new music, and I hope I can increase the fan-bases of those unsigned bands that deserve a good following. I’ll add any new series to this page if I start any.
So yeah, apart from those series things the posts are about me and my mad life. I am rather peculiar, as are some of the things that happen to me. Well, that’s probably rather obvious if you read it all. And don’t worry, there is a lot more madness on the way!
