Into Adulthood..

This is officially the last post from me as a child. It’s scary to think that I’m an adult; so much can go wrong! I need to be responsible.. Well, not until after this weekend! Read More...

Moo!

I’ve been using moo.com for a while now for my business cards, and love how they print my designs. Their products are so nice, you can design your own styles for all their items including business cards, greetings cards, postcards, stickers and accessories.
They also send out monthly newsletters showing other people’s ideas for using their products and giving out discount codes for our friends.
So now if you use QQYKMX at the checkout to get 30% off at the checkout! Tell your friends too! Thanks! Read More...

Pleased

I had my baccalaureate presentation today after school. There were 11 of us doing them, I was last, so I didn’t leave school until 6 o’clock. It was really tiring, but I am now relieved that I’ve completed it. I am slightly disappointed with how I performed as I didn’t say all that I’d planned to, but I hope it was enough to get a decent grade on it. Read More...

Sleep Well World

I’m lying here in bed with my lovely iPhone 4 and my gorgeous bracelet that Toby gave me and I just had to write down how content I am with life at the moment. Sure, it’s full of exams and a bit of stress, but I’m getting on well with all of my friends, I’m nearly 18, I have a great phone and great new laptop and screen from Toby. Sigh of Relief.. Sort of!

I phoned up Southampton University on Thursday after talking to Mum about what I was thinking, and the guy at Ocean Sciences was really helpful. He said he’d send my application over to Biological Sciences for Zoology, and I rang up today and they’ve received it, so now I’m just playing the waiting game again. Read More...

New Year’s Resolutions

  1. Drink more water. The classic choice because, as always, I need to be healthier and drink more to stop my epic low blood pressure and dizziness, as well as giving me clearer skin and thoughts (apparently).
  2. Exercise properly. The gym is a good place for this when you spend more than half an hour at a time there…
  3. Decide what to do for University. This should be number one, as it is rather important for the rest of my life.
  4. REVISE. I got away with a little last year but I really want to push for my retakes and summer exams to get the best possible grades… After all, they’ll only stick with me FOREVER.
  5. Grow a backbone. I need to be able to ask people when I need advice or to talk to them about something.

I think that’s about enough for now since I can’t think of any more and that’s quite a lot for me to manage since I never keep up with number 1 for more than a month or so… Read More...
